Daniel Tenbusch

keyboardist · composer · musical director

Daniel Tenbusch is a genre-crossing performing artist on piano, organ and keyboards hailing from Central Florida.

In 2018 he graduated from Florida State University with a BM in Jazz Piano Performance. Shortly thereafter, he moved to New Orleans. There, he worked daily with bands of many styles, elevating his playing, developing his sound and immersing himself in the music New Orleans has to offer. At this time, Daniel also began working for drummer Les Demerle (former drummer for the Harry James Orchestra). With Les, Daniel did two contracts on Royal Caribbean Cruises.

In May of 2020, Daniel took a short hiatus from music to hike the Appalachian trail, and since completion has been based out of Florida. In 2021, he formed the the band Creek with Ashton Bailey-Gould, Ethan Bailey-Gould and Thomas Milovac, and frequently collaborating with vocalist Kristen Warren. This group of musicians regularly tours the southeast, performing at venues such as Judson's Live in Orlando and Rudy's Jazz Room in Nashville. Together, they headlined the Space Coast Music Festival in 2021.

Daniel earned his Masters of Arts degree in Music from the University of Central Florida in 2024, where he taught piano to undergraduate music majors. Beginning in the summer of 2023 he started performing on tour with the Glenn Miller Orchestra around the country and internationally.

Most recently, Daniel performed on the national tour of Charlie Brown Christmas Live as the musical director and pianist, as well as playing the character Schroeder. Currently, you can hear him throughout Florida and the south-east performing in his own name, with the band Creek, as well as Kristen Warren, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Glenn Miller Orchestra, Jukebox Saturday Night, Les Demerle and Bonnie Eisle, Thomas Milovac, Moonrays, Ryan Devlin, Adam and the Testifiers, Kat Hall, 239 Collective, USDA Organic Trio, Rush Hour Trio, and more.
